Jason Huntley called his shot again.
The former Aggie All-American running back promised big things, and he didn't disappoint.
He carried the football seven times for a game-high 53 yards (7.6 avg) and a rushing touchdown, leading the National squad to a 30-20 victory over the American team Saturday night at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl inside the Rose Bowl Stadium.
With limited touches to show scouts he deserves a chance in the NFL, Huntley made the most of his opportunities. Five of his seven carries went for seven-plus yards, including his 11-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter.
He broke loose for runs of 14 and 13 yards in the fourth quarter, helping the National team put the game on ice.
Huntley, who ran for 1,090 yards and nine touchdowns during the 2019 regular season, was one of two Aggies competing in this year's NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Ray Buford Jr. lined up at defensive back for the opposing American squad.
