He is a 4 star on Rivals and ESPN. Scout currently has him as a 3 star but according to Verbal Commits, He was once a 5 star on scout and rated the number 26 prospect in the nation....

They predicted he would be going to Illinois.

That 7th grade play-day dunk is pretty impressive considering the grade.  I was luck to touch the net in 7th grade.... not much has change in that regard.

"For Canadians, New Mexico State is a high profile program," Haley's AAU coach, Pasha Bains, said. "Us in particular in BC, we have three kids that played for Seattle U last year. We're pretty familiar with the (Western Athletic Conference) and the teams that are in it. The kids that we have had in the past and have been recruited by several of the schools there. (NMSU associate head coach) Paul Weir has actually recruited several of our players in the past and we know him through a lot of mutual guys in Toronto.
