McIntyre is a 5'11", 175 lb. wide receiver who was a standout prep football player in New Mexico at Las Cruces High School. In 2013, he was selected All-District as both a wide receiver and a safety. McIntyre was also on the track team for the Las Cruces High School Bulldawgs, where he was the 5A State Champion in the high jump in 2014.
