GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior Daniel Johnson was named American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings First Team All-Region for the Midwest region, the organization announced on Wednesday. He is the 12th Aggie to receive this honor, and the first since 2011.
"This is a great honor for Daniel and for our program," said head coach Brian Green. "We are so proud of D.J., and what a great story of determination and hard work he is. In my 22 years of coaching, I have never seen a player make the strides that he has made in one season. It really is a credit to his work ethic, makeup, character and his talent."
