ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) โ Josh Foley found out early Monday morning that he was the Gatorade New Mexico Football Player of the Year. Monday night, he was crowned All Metro first team and Class 6A Player of the Year by the Albuquerque Coaches Association.
โAll the awards are great and stuff but none of it would be possible without my team,โ said Foley. โThey are out there to make me look good and we are just working every day in practice to make each other look good and get as many accolades as we can.โ
Just last week, Foley was in the KRQE News 13 studio accepting the award for Football Friday Class 6A Player of the Year. The 5-foot-11, 190 pound running back and corner had 30 touchdowns and averaged 156 yards per game while leading the Rio Rancho Rams to a perfect record and Class 6A State Championship.
