LAS CRUCES, N.M. (Aug. 6)-New Mexico State swimming and diving head coach Rick Pratt has announced the 2012-13 schedule. The slate for next season includes a fall invitational and a meet with two Pac-12 schools.
The Aggies prepare for the year with the annual Crimson and White meet (Oct. 3) before hosting Air Force in the regular season opener (Oct. 13). NM State is also hosting an alumni meet (Oct. 27).
"Our schedule next season is very balanced and gives us some great challenges," Pratt said. "I am excited to attend the Houston Invite again as that was a great experience for us last year. We will have a young team, and I think our schedule will prepare us well for the ultimate success at the end of the season."
The Aggies venture to Albuquerque, N.M., for their first road trip of the season, when they meet New Mexico, Colorado State and San Diego State in a two-day meet (Nov. 2-3). NM State is making its second consecutive trip to the Houston Invitational (Nov. 15-17) in Houston, Texas.
The Crimson and White end the fall semester at Northern Arizona (Dec. 1) in Flagstaff, Ariz. After the New Year, the Aggies travel to Tucson, Ariz., to face Arizona and Oregon State (Jan. 4).
The Aggies meet Idaho (Jan. 18) in Moscow, Idaho, before hosting in-state rival New Mexico in the regular season finale (Feb. 2). NM State then travels to San Antonio, Texas, for the WAC Championships (Feb. 27-March 2).
