NMSU has offered Chevoski Collins a Scholarship. Collins is a passer on the move, dual-threat QB that can be dangerous when things break down. Short quarterback that plays bigger than his size. Very mobile, but not elite. Can make defenders miss in small areas. Not a quarterback that has to go through a progression/coverage reads.
ESPN 300 athlete Chevoski Collins is in no rush to make a decision on where heโll go to college.
Thatโs partly because the Livingston, Texas, product is trying to get himself in the right mindset for his senior season. But his delay in announcing his verbal commitment also has to do with his yearning to play on a particular side of the ball.
โI just like to score,โ he said. โIโve been playing offense my whole life and thatโs what I really want to play is offense.โ
