LAS CRUCES, N.M. -The 2012 New Mexico State Football team held practice No. 4 Thursday afternoon at the football practice field. The Aggies practiced for about two hours in helmets and shoulder pads, as the team is still under the NCAA mandated five-day acclimation period. Friday will be the first day in full pads for NM State.
It was windy afternoon again in Las Cruces and the Aggies focused on technique in each individual position drill. Special teams was crisp despite the windy condition. NM State's team period of practice was filled with high intensity of both sides of the ball.
The Aggies will be back on the field tomorrow for practice No. 5 beginning at 3 p.m. on the football practice field. It will also be the first day in full pads for NM State.
