LAS CRUCES, N.M. -The 2012 New Mexico State Football team held practices No. 12 and 13 on Wednesday, marking the team's second two-a-day session of this week with another scheduled for Friday. The Aggies practiced for about two hours in each practice.
After being challenged the day before by head coach DeWayne Walker, the team stepped up its focus and execution in the morning practice. The Aggies also went through their daily progression of position and special teams drills.
In the second practice the team continued conditioning and position drills in full pads. The defense earned praise from Walker in the second scrimmage session of the day as the offense began to pick it up late.
The Aggies will be back on the field for a single practice, No. 14, tomorrow from 3-5 p.m.
