To say that the last two seasons of Kansas football have been difficult would be the understatement of the year. Especially difficult has to be watching the program go from a 12-1 record in 2007 to 2-10 in 2011. Especially considering that after winning its first two games, fans watched in horror as the team dropped its next 10. After going 5-19 in his first two seasons, Turner Gill was fired and the school brought in former Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis to rebuild the program.
